THERE’S ONLY ONE THRONE IN YOUR HEART.

THERE’S ONLY ONE THRONE IN YOUR HEART.

I was going through the book of Revelations yesterday. I read the chapter 12. There was something there that gave a light.

Revelation 12:7-9(KJV)

7. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

(NLT)

7. Then there was war in heaven. Michael and the angels under his command fought the dragon and his angels.
8. And the dragon lost the battle and was forced out of heaven.
9. This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

It says here that there was a fierce war in heaven and the devil and his cohorts lost the battle. They were thrown down to the earth.

I was wondering, why didn’t God just keep him in a prison there?
Then I caught a light.

There cannot be two men who claim they are the head in one place. Just like two captains cannot drive a boat, the same way God and the devil cannot co-habit the heavens.

Also, the heavens is God’s own place of abode. He cannot leave it for the devil.
There’s only one place for a king in heaven!

Same goes for your heart.

There’s only one throne. There’s nothing like a small ‘glove compartment’ for the flesh/devil. It’s Jesus or the devil. There’s no fence neither is there any negotiation.

Many people think God and the devil can stay together. Looking at the scriptures, it never happened. Where the devil was, the Lord doesn’t stay.

The bible recorded that the eyes of the Lord cannot behold iniquity. The Lord cannot see evil. Where the devil is, evil thrives. The Lord cannot stay in an environment that’s not conducive for Him.

In the garden of Eden, after Adam and Eve chose the path of evil, what did the Lord do? He drove them out of His presence and put an angel to guard the angel so no man can enter.

The Lord wants all, not a part. If He can’t get all, He can’t take half. The bible says that the vessels God uses are consecrated, set apart. They are people who have put themselves out for the Lord to male use of.

How are you setting yourself apart? What are you doing to let GOD into the throne of your heart?

Even you cannot sit on the throne and God stays in the heart. You sit on the floor, as a servant. The Lord is to sit on the throne as King. You cannot run your life as well as He would.

The throne of your heart can only take one being. If you are for the Lord, you must let Him sit on your heart. You must allow Him to rule your life, to rule your heart.

If you attempt to do it yourself, you would end up a failure. The Lord’s expertise cannot be matched. If you love yourself as you claim you do, you should be willing to ‘cast it into the waters’ as opposed to bread.

Christians are ‘set apart’ vessels. They are people who are carefully set apart for the Lord. Nobody set them apart. They took a decision to set themselves apart and the only them know the immense returns they get.

The Lord wants set apart vessels. If you want HIM, let it be just Him. If you’re still a snare to the devil, you need to make a decision today.

Joshua 24:15 says;

(KJV) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

(NLT) But if you are unwilling to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

Make a choice today. If you choose to follow the way of the cross, say the below with an open heart to the Lord. He’s ever ready to listen to you. Though your sin be as purple as scarlet and your sin be as red as crimson, He would make you as white as snow and as soft as wool.

“Lord Jesus, I’m sorry for the way I’ve treated you. I’m sorry for not giving you all of me. I’m here today to tell you that I’m all yours from now on. Teach me to live holy and right in your sight. Show me the path to follow and I would follow, solidly behind you. Thank you, Dad.”

If you said these words, I congratulate you. You’ve just become a son of the King of the Universe. If you need counselling, do send me a DM of WhatsApp; 09162193447.

God be with you.
