I SEE A PEOPLE!

In this land Nigeria, we have faced fire, water, rocks and whatever hard thing you can thing about. It just speaks of the relentless nature of it’s people to survive.

Sicknesses that destroyed lives in other parts of the world merely caused a scrach to us. Natural disasters that other countries have that erode their properties and livelihood and absent in this land.

A land the Bible says ‘flows with milk and honey’. May I also add the perfume of Christ, oh yes!

This is a land chosen by God for His glory. This is a land consecrated by God for His show forth. Nothing we have was worked for or gained by personal effort. All we have, God gave us.

Smart people, beautiful men and women, smart kids, innovative minds, creative spirit, courageous people, a land filled with natural resources yet has no down side. A land planted in by God for revealing Him.

Maybe we don’t understand where we are in the map of Christ. Maybe we are still lost in the jacket of yesterday. Maybe we have failed to resonate with God’s will for us. Maybe we are resisting Him.

A wise man once told me that people with the greatest potentials always the greatest battles. I have to agree with Him. This land is blessed so much. This is just perfect for God’s will.

But………

We lack one vital feature, POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS GOD.

I see a people with the passion and hunger for Christ. I see me and women who love the Lord with every fiber in them. I see men who cannot be calm unless the Lord speaks.

I see people that are ready to go the extra mile for Him. I see a people who have left all and followed Him. I see a people who seek His pleasure and no one else’s. I see a land that is burning with Christ’s fire.

Tobi Amusan made us proud on the track. Ugee Royalty made us proud on the stage. Joshua Selman makes us proud on the pulpit. Darasimi Oyor makes us proud with her journals. Nathaniel Bassey makes us proud with his tracks and trumpet.

JayMikee makes us proud with his christian and humorous videos and songs. Mike Bamiloye makes us proud with him amazing movies. Lawrence and GodsWill Oyor make us proud with their love encapsulated sounds.

For sure, these aren’t strange names. These are people of this land striving for a better us. A better us with the message of Christ in our hearts. A better us with Christ in the boat.

We’ve tried our ways. Now, it’s time to Go His!

I doubt I’m the only one seeing God’s hand heavily upon us. I refuse to believe that I alone can sense and understand the season we are in. It’s so glaring!

This is a season of NEW BEGINNING!

This is a platform Christ has created to save us from ourselves and give us a new beginning. This is God’s strategy to bring us back into intimacy. This is God’s will for us people.

However, 2 Chronicles 7:14 says; “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”(KJV)

We must plead for mercy and never go back!

This is a season Christ has chosen to revive us in. We must pray so we do not miss it. We must pray against living in the past again. We must pray to take hold of this season.

The elections are here again. There have been prophesies of death and killings majorly on children. We must arise and destroy the wickedness of the wicked now!

The iron is hot, STRIKE!

They can plan but we must stand and enforce God’s will for this season. We must not allow sleep. We must not entertain weakness. Christ is counting on us.

I see a people with a mandate to pray into revival and hope. I see a people who are charged to revive. I see a land that is devoid of blood as the evil ones intended. I see a land that Christ holds in His palm.

I see a people of Christ emerging!
