IT’S NOT OVER, YET

IT’S NOT OVER!

For the past few days(or hours), I’ve been thinking of what to write as a great come back from my break. While praying, this was laid in my heart and I know it’s for someone.

Many times as believers, it’s like we’ve hit a rock. It feels like we’ve just gotten to a dead end. Sometimes at this point, we might pray but our prayers may be like a waste of time.

It feels like something is wrong with us. We feel disconnected and lost in the whole pursuit of Godliness. At this time,God might not be speaking to you at all.

He’s not ignoring, He’s just watching from the sidelines. This is the exact attitude of God that we do not understand that causes a lot of dryness.

When you are observing and getting to know a child, you do not speak at all. You just sit and watch, in awe of awesomeness. Sometimes, you’re just dumbstruck at how ‘awesome’ someone is.

I want to believe this is how God is sometimes. He just sits and looks at His masterpiece and so ‘in love’ with. He just quietly watches. Though you’re in distress, He already knows the latter end.

His goal is just to see how you respond to Him and His silence at that point in time. Christ has made us understand that our father is daily and everlastingly in love with us.

We walk in the reality and knowledge that Christ loves us, plenty. We know that He loves us abundantly. The sad truth is that humans forget, a lot!

We forget God’s goodness to us. We forget His wonderful show of love. We forget His awesomeness. We forget how He came through for us in the past. We forget how much He gave up for us.

Because of a little, measly issue.
The greatest problem is what we really mean as our source.

I remmeember sharing this at my church a few months ago and I’ll love to share it with you as the Holy Spirit had taught me.

Psalms 91:1-10 (KJV) says;
1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6.Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

This is a popular scriptural verse that we can chant without looking at the bible (it’s highly recommend that you memorize it. It’s one of the most powerful Psalms).

I want us to look at something critically.

Verse 9 says “Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;”.

What is a place of habitation?

A place you live, dwell, abide and lots more. Here the bible said the Most High is your habitation. You live and move in Christ.

The greatest problem( as I said before) is what we really mean by our source. If the most High is your habitation, why would you search for peace outside Him?

This is what destroys God’s relationship with His children. This minute, you are confessing love and trust in Him. The next you’re crying and asking God why.

What do you expect Him to go with?

When God is your source of joy, hope, peace and lots more, you life will reflect the quote; “When men say there’s a casting down, I’ll be saying there’s a lifting up.”

When God is your source, you will be content with just being with Him. Him speaking to you at every moment is not possible. Christ is not talkertive. He speaks when necessary.

After all, I’ve learned that in most relationships, silence is also a way of keeping each other company. Yes, its actually a proven fact.

The problem is never God’s faithfulness. The problem is your deficiency in understanding His body language. When you understand Him, you would be happy regardless of how life seems like right now.

It’s not over until Christ comes. Do not drown yourself in self pity and depression, it’s exactly what the devil wants. Take the bull by the horn and choose confidence in Christ even in blindness.

God loves it when we defy our physical senses to obey Him.
Thanks for reading!❤

It’s been three week, as opposed to two weeks announced. The Lord has been faithful and kind to us. We return in His power and might.

Good morning & happy new month.
Happy Sunday too.
