WORSHIP ĪĪ

WORSHIP ĪĪ

Worship, as we know, is the reverence given to a deity. Last week, we talked about worship being in loyalty to God’s words. Today, I want to enlighten us on something different.

    Psalm 1:1-6 says(NLT);

1. Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers.
2. But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants; day and night they think about his law.

3. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper.
4. But this is not true of the wicked. They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.

5. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly.
6. For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

The scripture above is relating to what we discussed last week. The King James Version made use of the word “blessed”. A man in alignment with the will of God is blessed. A man who is keeping the statutes of God is a man that is blessed.

Last week, I got to learn through my pastor that every thing we do has a voice. Your gifts have a voice. Your dance has a voice. Your prayer, worship and thanksgiving has a voice. Everything you do as a believer has a voice.

Even the blood has a voice. That’s why the voice of Abel cried out for vengeance against Cain. That’s is also why the blood of Jesus speaks good things to us to the father. That’s why we go through the blood to obtain mercy and receive from the Lord; because the voice speaks.

So, the voice of your actions too matter. Everything you do as a believer is judged by heaven.

Do we also know that when fulfilling purpose, you are raising an incense of worship. Verse two of the scripture says “and doing everything the Lord wants”. Doing the very thing God has created you to do is worship to the father.

We explained last week that worship isn’t about the song or about the dance. It goes beyond that. Its everything and anything you do to make God happy. It’s everything we do to show reverence to God. It’s the very thing that God has delight in just to make Him glad.

Your purpose in life is to give God worship. In your ministry, in your calling and heavenly assignment, worship is the voice that resounds from them all. The very reason you’re on earth is worship.

Whether you’re in the fashion, music, writing, prophetic, teaching or apostolic ministry, you must endevour to do it as agod has purposes to raise the correct incenase of worship.

It doesn’t have to be as the world likes it. After all, the Father is not of the world. It has to be as God has purposed. It has to be God’s will. Every dream you have should stir you up towards fulfilling purpose.

On the issue of purpose, never think you have time. Truly, you don’t. Romans 8:19 says; “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”(KJV)

Earnest, telling us that it’s expecting it soon! They are waiting for you to worship God, soon! Not tomorrow! God is waiting for you to worship Him. We are created to worship. He has placed certain gifts in us for His pleasure. We must tap into the current of that gift and bring it to light.

We have to work towards fulfilling purpose, now! Not tomorrow!

    Happy Sunday!
    Jah blesses you!
